We’re looking for a web developer to join our established team of marketing and technical professionals.

This role requires a strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, specifically expertise in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. The role involves creating user-friendly web pages, integrating payment gateways, and developing APIs and RESTful services.

We have reunited more than 20,000 families during the pandemic (2020 and 2021); the brand has been in the market for 17 years, offering fantastic travel deals to people traveling between Australia and India. Moreover, our newly created brands, i Fly Now (India and Australia) and Turtle Down Under, are expected to grow significantly during the next couple of years.    

Some of the duties/responsibilities include:    

- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic websites and web applications using WordPress and PHP.  

- Implement responsive designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.  

- Integrate payment gateways and develop secure e-commerce functionality.  

- Develop and consume APIs and RESTful services.  

- Ensure website performance and speed optimization.  

- Collaborate with the design team to implement visual design into functional web applications.  

- Use jQuery to enhance user interactions on web pages.  

- Maintain code integrity and organization using GitHub.  

- Write clear, concise documentation for all developed features and functionalities.  

- Stay up to date with the latest web development technologies and practices.  

Requirements For This Role:      

- Proven experience of 3+ years as a Web Developer or similar role.  

- Strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.  

- Experience with payment gateway integration.  

- Familiarity with API and RESTful services development.  

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub.  

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
