Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced hostess for a mid-level position at Gamut HR Solutions in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with 4 to 6 years of experience in hospitality or customer-focused roles. Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience using customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Proficiency with point of sale systems to efficiently handle guest transactions (Mandatory skill).
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members (Mandatory skill).
- Experience with reservation management software to coordinate guest bookings effectively.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple guest requests simultaneously.
- Conflict resolution skills to address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
- Detailed menu knowledge to guide guests in making informed dining choices.
- Strong team collaboration capabilities to work harmoniously with other team members in delivering exceptional service.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure they are seated promptly according to reservation requirements.
- Maintain a positive and accommodating attitude while managing guest inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure accurate processing of guest orders and payments through point of sale systems.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to facilitate smooth dining experiences.
- Update and manage reservation systems to reflect current seating and booking statuses.
- Provide guests with detailed information about menu offerings and specials.
- Assist in resolving any service-related issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Engage with guests to gather feedback, thereby enhancing service quality and guest experience.
