Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, implementation and testing of software modules for projects as directed by the Project Manager and/or System Architect.

• Individual contributor who can convert the requirements into design.

• Demonstrated industry experience in the development of software components.

• Identify the stories/tasks, estimates work and take full ownership of the work.

• Should follow a well-defined organizational process.

• Review the work of staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with completion criteria.

• Undertake tasks within allocated budget and timeframe

. • Set clear self (in consultation with supervisor) goals and KPIs.

• Monitor self-performance on productivity, quality, compliance to process & standards is important.

• Support a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere, work with the team effectively.

• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts. • Implements business initiatives including prompt corrective action plans for areas with below threshold performance, provide advice on potential improvements to Sydac’s quality systems.

• Manage work assignments, productivity & quality, and process compliance in line with Sydac goals, processes, and guidelines.

• Adhere to all policies procedures and work instructions within the discipline of Sydac Quality expectations.

Working in close collaboration with the Team in Adelaide, participate in regular discussions, ensure constant & consistent collaboration, and provide constant updates of the ground situation in Pune.

Work Location will be in Pune (Preferring candidates who can work from office)

Skills and Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience

• Knowledge of RxJS, NgRX (Redux), REST, WebSockets and Cordova

• Working knowledge of OO design methodologies, Real Time systems including the use of UML

• Experience in User Interface design is desirable.

• Preferred - BTech/MTech/BE/ME in Computer science.

• Must be from IIT or a reputed university.

• Hands on Unit testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, Junit, etc.

• Working knowledge of message brokers like Rabbit MQ. Apache Kafka.

• Working knowledge of design patterns

• A working knowledge of Java and VS Code development environment

• Knowledge of IP communication protocols is desirable. • High level of applied mathematics is desirable.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a solution focused mindset

• Working knowledge of configuration management and defect tracking tools viz. Jira.

• Proactive approach to professional development including software innovation and technical application.

• High attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills

• Experience working in product-based company’s highly desirable. • A positive working attitude with a willingness to learn and grow your skill set.
