Job Responsibilities: Foreman (Turnaround and Shutdown)

Position Overview: The Foreman will assist in overseeing the execution of turnaround and shutdown activities for static equipment, including columns, heat exchangers, vessels, drums, tanks, and fin fans. This role requires hands-on leadership in industrial cleaning and mechanical tasks


.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision of Daily Operations:
  2. Oversee daily activities of the crew during turnaround and shutdown projects.
  3. Ensure that all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
  4. Work Coordination:
  5. Coordinate the activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining static equipment.
  6. Allocate tasks based on crew skills and project requirements.
  7. Industrial Cleaning Management:
  8. Supervise industrial cleaning processes, including hydro jetting, ensuring proper techniques and safety measures are followed.
  9. Monitor the effectiveness of cleaning operations and make adjustments as necessary.
  10. Mechanical Support:
  11. Assist in mechanical work related to the maintenance and repair of static equipment.
  12. Ensure that all mechanical tasks are completed to the required standards.
  13. Safety Enforcement:
  14. Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety protocols and procedures among the crew.
  15. Conduct safety briefings and training sessions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  16. Quality Assurance:
  17. Inspect work performed by the crew to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
  18. Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
  19. Reporting:
  20. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and incident reports.
  21. Provide regular updates to the Site Supervisor regarding progress, challenges, and resource needs.
  22. Team Leadership:
  23. Mentor and train crew members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  24. Address any personnel issues or conflicts that arise within the team.
  25. Collaboration:
  26. Work closely with the Site Supervisor and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  27. Communicate effectively with other teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
  28. Resource Management:
  29. Ensure that all tools, equipment, and materials are available and in good condition for the tasks at hand.
  30. Report any equipment maintenance needs or shortages to the Site Supervisor.
