Data Integration Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Specialist with extensive experience in integrating data with the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data integration tools such as Jitterbit, MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, Dell Boomi, Talend or similar platforms. The role requires substantial hands-on experience with Salesforce implementation and integration, including a deep understanding of API integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Data Integrations: Create and manage data integration solutions using tools such as Jitterbit, Knime, MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, Dell Boomi, Talend, or SnapLogic to connect Salesforce with various external systems.
• API Integration: Develop, implement, and manage integrations using Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and external APIs. Ensure seamless data exchange between Salesforce and third-party applications, addressing both synchronous and asynchronous data needs.
• API Development and Management: Design and develop custom API endpoints within Salesforce and integrate them with external systems. Handle API authentication, authorization, and security protocols to ensure secure and reliable data exchanges.
• Salesforce Integration: Manage and optimize data synchronization between Salesforce and external systems, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and real-time updates.
• High-Volume Integration Solutions: Design and implement high-volume integration solutions and manage bulk data loads efficiently, ensuring system performance and reliability.
• MuleSoft Expertise: Utilize MuleSoft for integrating Salesforce with other systems, leveraging its capabilities for building scalable and reusable APIs, orchestrating complex workflows, and enhancing integration processes.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather integration requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver effective integrations.
• Monitor and Troubleshoot: Oversee integration processes to ensure they run efficiently, resolve any issues promptly, and perform regular system health checks.
• Documentation: Document integration designs, API endpoints, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• Data Migration: Lead and execute data migration projects, ensuring accurate and secure transfer of data into Salesforce from various sources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Data Integration Tools Expertise: Extensive experience with integration tools such as Jitterbit, MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, Dell Boomi, Talend, or SnapLogic.
• Salesforce Platform Experience: Proven experience with Salesforce, including implementation, integration, and customization.
• API Integration Skills: Strong understanding of Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and external API integration, including development, management, and security aspects. Experience with API gateways and middleware solutions is a plus.
• High-Volume Integration: Experience designing high-volume integration solutions and managing bulk data loads.
• MuleSoft Experience: Hands-on experience with MuleSoft and integrating it with other Salesforce products and systems.
• ETL Processes: Proficiency in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data mapping.
• Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of data transformation, data cleansing, and data migration techniques.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Solid knowledge of data security standards and practices

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with data warehouse products like Redshift, Big Query, or Snowflake.
• Experience with API Client and testing tools like Postman, Thunder Client, and SoapUI.
