Job description– Manual Testing skills

Testing engineer is responsible for design of test scripts and scenarios, testing both from Functionality and User Experience perspectives; understand the modules functionality and user expectations, do Test Planning, drive testing preparation and execution and drive Test Automation, device medium- and long-term strategies for testing effectiveness, build/sustain effective testing team for long term

Roles and Responsibilities

Good understanding of SDLC & STLC.

Must have a good manual testing skills and expertise in different types of testing

Must have a good understanding of QA concepts and methodologies.

Experience with Agile development methodologies would be a plus.

Should be good in API Testing & Basic level of DB activities

Understanding of any performance testing tool is added advantage

Fluent English and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities of QA

Desired Candidate Profile

Write test cases (test scripts)

Conduct functional testing

Identify problem areas, add them to a tracking system

Discuss fixes with developers

Track the life cycle of errors

Re-test fixed defects

Analyze testing

Optimize the testing process

Analyze the teamwork processes

Improve processes

Perform manual and automated testing

Maintain the test documentation

Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality

Involve in the complete software test life cycle

Perform need base Integration, Smoke, Functional, System, Browser Compatibility, Sanity Testing, and Performance Testing, etc as per project requirement.
