Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in providing technical support, maintaining system security, and ensuring data integrity. The role includes managing system backups, applying security patches, supporting end-users, and maintaining both Windows and Linux environments along with networking tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure data integrity and security through regular system backups, antivirus updates, and timely application of security patches.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows and Linux systems.
  • Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and ensure all software licenses are valid and up-to-date.
  • Assist in IT policy enforcement and ensure adherence to security protocols.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement system upgrades and improvements.
  • Monitor system performance and logs to detect potential issues and resolve them proactively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in IT administration or support.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations.
  • Experience with backup systems, antivirus software, and security patch management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support end-users.
