Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the operations of our B2B Pharma: Marketplace/SaaS Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing platform operations, sales, client relations, order management, and conducting product demos. You will be responsible for driving the success of the platform by ensuring smooth operations, engaging with clients, and providing hands-on leadership to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Platform Operations Management:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the B2B pharma marketplace or SaaS platform, ensuring smooth order processing, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
- Continuously improve operational processes to optimize platform performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, tech, customer support) to ensure the platform meets customer needs and industry standards.
· Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction through timely issue resolution and proactive communication.
- Develop strategies for customer on boarding, training, and retention, ensuring that clients fully understand and utilize the platform’s features.
- Identify and address client needs, customizing solutions to enhance their experience with the platform.
· Sales & Business Development:
- Drive the sales process by providing product demos of the pharma marketplace or SaaS platform to potential clients, highlighting its benefits and features.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to generate leads, close deals, and meet revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with new and existing clients.
· Order & Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end order management process, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, tracking, and delivery.
- Work with suppliers, vendors, and distributors to ensure product availability and resolve any order or supply chain-related issues.
- Implement and monitor KPIs related to order accuracy, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.
· Platform Demonstrations:
- Conduct product demos to potential and existing clients, showcasing the features and capabilities of the marketplace or SaaS platform.
- Customize demo sessions based on client requirements to demonstrate how the platform can address specific business challenges.
· Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with product development, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment on platform enhancements and client feedback.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the platform’s roadmap by providing insights from client interactions and industry trends.
· Analytics & Reporting:
- Analyse platform performance data, including sales trends, client usage, and operational metrics, to make informed decisions.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on platform operations, client satisfaction, and sales performance.
- Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive growth and efficiency.
Requirements:
· Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in managing operations in a B2B Pharma: Marketplace/SaaS Platform.
- Proven experience in sales, client management, and order management in a B2B environment.
· Skills:
- Sales & Client Engagement: Strong ability to present and demo platforms to clients, manage relationships, and close deals.
- Operations Management: Expertise in managing daily operations, including order fulfillment, vendor management, and process optimization.
- Platform Demonstration: Proficiency in providing technical product demos and explaining platform features to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Order Management Systems: Familiarity with ERP or order management tools to ensure efficient order processing and supply chain management.
- Data-driven: Ability to analyse data and make decisions based on platform metrics, sales performance, and client feedback.
· Tools & Platforms:
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing client relationships and tracking sales pipelines.
- Experience with order management systems and supply chain management tools relevant to the pharma industry or SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of SaaS models and platform management, including APIs and integrations.
Nice-to-Have:
- Pharma Industry Experience: Knowledge of the pharma industry, including regulatory requirements, supply chain processes, and product distribution in B2B environments.
- SaaS Business Models: Experience with managing or selling SaaS platforms and understanding subscription-based pricing models.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects, clients, and orders simultaneously.
