Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Business Development Executive with experience in managing client on boarding, vendor relationships, order processing, and consignment deliveries for a B2B Pharma Marketplace or B2B SaaS Platform. The ideal candidate will also handle invoicing for clients and vendors, provide product demos, and support the overall business development efforts. This role requires a balance of sales acumen, operational know-how, and strong communication skills to ensure seamless client and vendor interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client On boarding & Relationship Management:
- Manage the on boarding process for new clients, ensuring they are fully trained on the marketplace or SaaS platform.
- Provide ongoing support and education to clients to ensure they maximize the platform’s value.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
· Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring they understand and adhere to platform processes.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely availability of products, inventory updates, and other relevant processes.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure that service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
· Order Processing & Consignment Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end order management process, from order placement to successful consignment delivery.
- Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of consignments to clients.
- Resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, shipping delays, or discrepancies in product deliveries.
· Invoicing & Payment Coordination:
- Generate and manage invoices for clients and vendors, ensuring accuracy in billing and timely payments.
- Coordinate with finance teams to ensure smooth invoicing processes and resolve any payment-related issues.
- Track receivables and ensure clients and vendors adhere to payment terms.
· Sales & Business Development:
- Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities within the pharma marketplace or SaaS platform.
- Assist in lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals by providing accurate product information and demos.
- Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing with clients and vendors in line with company policies.
· Product Demos & Presentations:
- Provide detailed and customized product demos to prospective clients, showcasing the marketplace or SaaS platform’s features and benefits.
- Tailor presentations to meet the specific needs and interests of each client, highlighting how the platform can solve their unique challenges.
· Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product, sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and smooth platform operation.
- Provide feedback from clients and vendors to the product team to enhance the platform and add new features as necessary.
· Reporting & Data Management:
- Track key metrics related to client onboarding, vendor management, order processing, and invoicing.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on business development activities, client satisfaction, and operational performance.
- Use CRM tools to manage client interactions, sales pipelines, and vendor information.
Requirements:
· Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in B2B Pharma Marketplace or B2B SaaS platforms in roles related to business development, client management, or vendor management.
- Proven experience in managing client on boarding, order processing, and vendor relationships in a B2B environment.
· Skills:
- Client & Vendor Management: Strong ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and troubleshoot issues for both clients and vendors.
- Sales & Demo Skills: Comfortable providing product demos and presentations to prospective clients.
- Order & Consignment Management: Experience overseeing the order fulfillment process, from order placement to consignment delivery.
- Invoicing & Financial Management: Proficient in managing invoicing, payment tracking, and financial reporting for clients and vendors.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate terms with clients and vendors.
· Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot to track client and vendor interactions.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or order management tools for processing orders and tracking consignments.
- Understanding of SaaS platforms and marketplace models, including API integrations and product feature management.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in the pharma industry, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and supply chain complexities in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Knowledge of SaaS subscription models.
