Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B Pharma Marketplace or B2B SaaS platforms, focusing on lead generation, cold calling, pitching, and managing follow-ups with potential clients. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and managing the CRM system to track interactions and sales progress.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead Generation:
- Identify potential clients in the B2B Pharma or SaaS sectors through research, industry databases, and digital tools.
- Use online platforms such as LinkedIn, email marketing tools, and industry forums to generate and qualify new leads.
- Maintain a steady flow of qualified leads to ensure a healthy sales pipeline.
· Cold Calling & Outreach:
- Conduct cold calls to potential clients, introducing them to the B2B Pharma Marketplace or SaaS platform and its benefits.
- Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to assess their business needs and qualify their interest in the platform.
- Schedule product demos or meetings with senior sales representatives or managers to close potential deals.
· Pitching & Product Demos:
- Effectively pitch the B2B Pharma Marketplace or SaaS platform to potential clients, highlighting key features and how the platform can solve their specific business challenges.
- Provide an introductory overview of the platform and coordinate follow-up product demos with the sales or technical teams.
- Tailor your approach and presentation to suit different industries and client needs.
· Follow-ups:
- Follow up with prospects after initial outreach and meetings to keep the conversation moving forward.
- Address any queries or objections prospects may have and provide additional information as needed to move them further down the sales funnel.
- Track all follow-up activities and ensure timely communication to keep prospects engaged.
· CRM Management:
- Manage and maintain the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho), ensuring all client interactions, sales activities, and lead details are accurately recorded.
- Track the progress of each lead and maintain detailed records of communication history, meeting notes, and follow-up actions.
- Generate reports from the CRM to monitor sales progress and identify areas for improvement in the outreach process.
· Sales Support:
- Assist the senior sales team in preparing materials for client presentations, including custom decks, proposals, and product information.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
· Market Research & Insights:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and the latest advancements in B2B Pharma and SaaS platforms.
- Provide insights on new market opportunities and help refine outreach strategies based on research and feedback.
Requirements:
· Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or sales within a B2B Pharma Marketplace or B2B SaaS platform.
- Proven experience in cold calling, lead generation, and pitching business solutions to prospects.
· Skills:
- Lead Generation: Strong ability to research and identify potential clients, leveraging digital tools, databases, and industry networks.
- Cold Calling: Comfortable making cold calls and initiating conversations with prospects in a professional and persuasive manner.
- Sales Pitching: Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively pitch the platform and its benefits.
- CRM Management: Proficiency in using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho to track client interactions and manage the sales pipeline.
- Follow-up Skills: Organized and detail-oriented in managing follow-ups and moving prospects through the sales funnel.
· Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with B2B Pharma Marketplace or SaaS platforms and their business models.
- Ability to understand and communicate the features and benefits of technology-driven platforms in the pharma or SaaS sector.
Nice-to-Have:
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare technology industry.
- Experience conducting product demos or working closely with sales engineers to deliver technical pitches.
