Job Summary:

Fortran Steel Pvt Ltd is seeking an IT Executive to join our team. The IT Executive will be responsible for managing the company's information technology infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the efficient and secure operation of all IT systems. This role will play a crucial part in helping the company leverage technology to meet its business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Infrastructure Management:

• Maintain and manage the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and computer systems.
• Monitor the performance and security of IT systems, ensuring high availability and data integrity.

1. Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems and ensure minimal downtime.

1. Software and Hardware Management:

• Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
• Manage hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

1. Data Security and Backup:

• Implement and maintain data security protocols to protect sensitive information.
• Establish and manage data backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss.

1. Network Administration:

• Configure and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ensure network connectivity and security for both local and remote users.

1. User Training and Documentation:

• Train and educate employees on best IT practices and company policies.
• Create and maintain IT documentation for reference and training purposes.

1. Vendor Management:

• Collaborate with IT service providers and vendors to ensure smooth operation of IT services.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and vendors to support business needs.

1. IT Policies and Compliance:

• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in IT support and system administration.
3. Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems, networking, and security.
4. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
5. Experience in managing Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
9. Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies is desirable.
