Job Summary:

Fortran Steel Pvt. Ltd is seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data, identifying business trends, and providing insights to support decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze information, create reports, and develop strategies for improving business operations and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis: Analyze data related to sales, production, inventory, and other business operations to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
2. Business Insights: Provide valuable insights to management by creating reports and dashboards that summarize key performance indicators and highlight opportunities for growth and efficiency.
3. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics in the steel industry.
4. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with various departments to gather and document business requirements for process improvements, software tools, and systems.
5. Project Management: Manage and support business improvement projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
6. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, including budgets and forecasts, to support financial decision-making and cost optimization.
7. Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of business processes, procedures, and requirements.
8. Communication: Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to various stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
9. Quality Assurance: Assist in ensuring that implemented solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization and work with the teams to implement changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in the steel industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with the steel industry and market dynamics is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of software and business process modeling tools is beneficial.
