Job purpose
The primary function of the role is to manage the Request for Quotation (RFQ) intake, response,
and submission process for all customer contracts. This involves using existing tools and
following established procedures to successfully handle a high volume of customer requests.
Must be able to work closely with the inside sales team. In addition, must be able to support cross
functional teams in the sales support process and establish working relationships with others
outside area of expertise.
Must be able to review/analyze data and exercise independent judgment on business matters.
Must be able to analyze processes, apply research, gather information, and use interpretation
skills to develop process solutions and solve problems of diverse scope. This individual will
support and participate with regional teams on projects that impact the RFQ process. They will
also have regular contact with customers for problem resolution.
Duties and responsibilities
Monitoring RFQ load on a daily basis
Reviewing customer Request for Quotes
Interfacing with our inside sales associate
Reviewing all quotations and ensure the pricing fits the quote
Interfacing with customer contact(s)
Communicating changes in an order process to relevant parties.
Creating and monitoring projects and teams.
Reviewing workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met.
Supporting the CEO or executive team’s vision and process ideals.
Supporting all functions of the business to work together.
Essential Requirements
Critical skills are the ability to use existing systems, tools, and procedures to accomplish
the job while analyzing processes for continuous improvement.
Must be highly organized and be comfortable working in a deadline driven environment.
Must be able to communicate directly with customers in a professional manner.
Must possess a strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
Qualifications
Education: MBA / PGDM - Graduation in any stream with minimum 50%
Skills: Excellent analytical and research skills. Negotiation skills would be added advantage
Characteristics: Go getter and leadership abilities
Ideal Candidate
A proven track record of successful sales and business development within a business to
business environment.
If not from an aviation background then an interest to learn about aviation engineering,
technical and associated support services.
Be prepared to accept responsibility and work autonomously as well as part of a team
