Job Overview

We are seeking a Design Engineer with experience in Foundry Casting Simulation to join our team at Forar Tech India Private Limited. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for using your expertise in casting simulation to optimize the design and manufacturing process for our clients in the foundry industry. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, and we are looking for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in this field.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in casting simulation in the foundry industry
• Strong knowledge of casting simulation techniques and software
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for 3D modeling
• Experience with CAE software for analysis and evaluation of castings
• Familiarity with the principles and practices of foundry processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct casting simulations to optimize the design and manufacturing process for clients in the foundry industry
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions
• Utilize CAD/CAM software to create 3D models of casting designs
• Perform analysis using CAE software to evaluate the structural integrity and performance of castings
• Generate reports and present findings to clients, providing recommendations for design modifications
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in casting simulation technology
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the simulation and manufacturing process
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the successful implementation of casting designs.
