Location- Vapi, Gujarat

Job Summary: The HR Operations and Payroll Executive will oversee and manage all HR operations and payroll processes for our manufacturing facility. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of HR practices and payroll systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management:
- Administer and process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Calculate and process employee deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
- Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies related to payroll.
- HR Operations:
- Manage employee data and maintain up-to-date records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
- Handle recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Assist in onboarding and orientation of new employees.
- Administer employee benefits programs and handle queries related to benefits.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices and records to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Support employee relations and address any HR-related concerns or grievances.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Prepare and submit statutory compliance reports (e.g., PF, ESI, PT).
- Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll and HR operations.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including contracts, performance evaluations, and leave records.
- Prepare and file necessary documentation for employee records and payroll processing.
- Other Duties:
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Provide support to HR team members and management on HR-related matters.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and payroll regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR operations and payroll management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with [specific HRIS or payroll software, e.g., SAP, ADP, etc.].
- Understanding of local labor laws and regulations in Gujarat.
- Certification in payroll management or HR (e.g., CPP, PHR) is a plus.
