Job Overview

We are looking for a Steward to join our team at Roast Restaurant. As a Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience as a Steward or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Pleasing personality and ability to work well with diverse customers
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and food and beverage industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required
• Hotel Management or relevant certification is a plus
• Hardworking and dedicated

Roles and Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries about menu items
• Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving any issues or complaints promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service
• Stay updated on current menu offerings and promotions
