About the role
We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) who aligns with our mission of creating wealth through innovative startup investments, while being a key player in the entrepreneurial ecosystem we are building. The CA will be responsible for managing the financial health of IA's operations, maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting startup founders with strategic financial guidance.
As a Chartered Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making for IA’s investments in startups.
- Analyze financial statements of portfolio companies to provide insights that guide investment strategies.
- Prepare detailed financial reports on IA’s multiple business lines to provide clear visibility on cash flow, profitability, and growth opportunities.
- Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and tax laws for IA and its portfolio companies.
- Prepare tax returns and handle audits for the various entities within the IA ecosystem.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and advise IA on potential impacts.
- Investor Relations
- Assist in managing relationships with investors by providing accurate and timely financial reports.
- Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for investor presentations and meetings.
- Collaborate with the investment team to evaluate startups from a financial perspective and participate in due diligence.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Work closely with IA leadership to create financial forecasts and budgets.
- Monitor the financial performance of IA’s initiatives and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Prepare variance analysis between actual and budgeted financial results and propose corrective actions when necessary.
- Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls for multiple entities under IA’s brand.
- Identify financial risks and ensure IA’s financial policies mitigate these risks effectively.
- Oversee the financial management of portfolio companies and provide them with strategic guidance.
- Support for Startups
- Advise startups on setting up their financial systems, budgeting, compliance and reporting.
- Conduct workshops or one-on-one sessions with founders to enhance their financial literacy and preparedness for scaling.
A Qualified Candidate Should have:
- CA qualification with 1 year of post-qualification experience.
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage financial operations for multiple entities.
- Interest in startups, venture capital, and early-stage investments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with investors, founders, and internal team.

- Compensation – ₹6 to ₹8 LPA
