Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer specializing in Data Engineering and AI Systems to join our team in Bengaluru. This is a full-time, mid-level position, perfect for those with a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of innovative developers to build and maintain scalable backend solutions that drive our cutting-edge trading insights platform.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Node.js (Mandatory skill) with the ability to build efficient and scalable server-side applications.
• Hands-on experience in Kafka (Mandatory skill), understanding of stream processing, and event-driven architecture.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, with capability to design and optimize databases for data-intensive applications.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend and third-party services.
• Familiarity with Microservices Architecture, capable of designing and deploying services with independent scaling.
• Experience with Docker, understanding containerization, and deployment of applications in cloud environments.
• Proficient in GraphQL, capable of implementing flexible and efficient APIs that streamline data fetching.
• Working knowledge of AWS, with experience in deploying and managing applications in a cloud infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend solutions that support the company's AI-driven insights platform.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to enable seamless integration of models into backend systems.
• Architect, implement, and maintain microservices to ensure system scalability and high availability.
• Optimize application performance and maintainability, identifying and correcting bottlenecks and defects.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices in development through code reviews and automated testing.
• Implement data processing and management solutions using Kafka and other data technologies.
• Coordinate with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and operation in AWS and related cloud environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by exploring and implementing innovative technologies and practices.
