Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Techno-Functional Analyst with expertise in the Retail and (F&B) industry to join our IT department. This role involves a blend of technical and functional responsibilities, requiring a deep understanding of operations and hands-on experience with POS, ERP, and CRM systems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions that align with business goals, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design & Implementation:
o Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements for IT solutions.
o Design and document solution specifications, including data flow, integration points, and functional requirements.
o Lead or support the implementation of POS, ERP, and CRM systems tailored for the F&B industry, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
2. System Configuration & Customization:
o Configure and customize POS, ERP, and other F&B applications based on business requirements.
o Collaborate with development teams to deliver custom features, workflows, and reports.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards, focusing on data accuracy, security, and audit requirements.
3. Integration & Interface Management:
o Facilitate seamless integration of F&B systems with third-party applications such as payment gateways, inventory management, and supply chain systems.
o Troubleshoot and resolve any interface issues to maintain uninterrupted operations.
o Document and maintain integration specifications for future scalability and updates.
4. Testing & Quality Assurance:
o Develop and execute test plans for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
o Identify, document, and resolve defects, ensuring quality standards are met before deployment.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Support:
o Act as a liaison between the IT department and business units (Operations, Finance, Procurement) to align technical solutions with business strategies.
o Provide end-user training and ongoing support for IT applications.
6. Vendor Management & Collaboration:
a. Coordinate with software vendors and service providers for product updates, support, and maintenance.
b. Review vendor-provided solutions, evaluate feasibility, and participate in vendor negotiations as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
* Experience: 10+ years of techno-functional experience with a strong focus on POS, ERP, CRM, and/or other industry-specific applications.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), and ERP/POS’S system configuration. Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., APIs, middleware).
* Functional Knowledge: In-depth understanding of POS operations, including supply chain, inventory, sales, and customer service processes.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions and effectively communicate requirements to stakeholders.
* Project Management: Experience in managing or supporting IT projects, with knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
* Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
