Ø BTec Mechanical Engineering with 5 Years’ Experience manufacturing of sheet metal components or Filtration division.

Ø Ability to use CAD

Ø Experience of FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), Kaizen / continuous  improvement and problem solving, process improvement and Poka Yoke (error proofing) techniques

Ø Good knowledge in ERP System.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision and Leadership:

• Provide leadership and supervision to production staff, ensuring that they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Motivate and encourage team members to achieve production goals and maintain high-quality standards.

1. Production Planning:

• Collaborate with the production manager and other department heads to develop production schedules and plans.
• Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

1. Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards.
• Monitor production output to identify and address any issues affecting product quality.

1. Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory levels to ensure that raw materials and finished goods are maintained at appropriate levels.
• Work with supply chain and procurement teams to manage material availability.

1. Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in the production process.
• Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

1. Training and Development:

• Train new production staff on procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing team members.

1. Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure that production processes comply with health and safety regulations and standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.

1. Communication:

• Maintain effective communication channels between different departments and team members.
• Address production-related issues and concerns promptly and efficiently.

1. Budget Management:

• Assist in the development and management of production budgets.
• Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

1. Problem Resolution:

• Identify and resolve production-related issues, escalating problems to higher management when necessary.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of problems.

1. Collaboration with Maintenance:

• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment and machinery are well-maintained and operational.
• Schedule routine maintenance and address equipment breakdowns promptly.
