Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our Mumbai office on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate should possess strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and practices, with an ability to manage financial data and processes efficiently. Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in financial reporting, with a strong ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and reports (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in account reconciliation to ensure accurate and complete financial records (Mandatory skill).
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, and prepayments (Mandatory skill).
• Proven skills in bookkeeping to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, data manipulation, and reporting.
• Experience in managing accounts payable, including processing invoices and managing vendor relationships.
• Adept at handling accounts receivable tasks, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments from clients.
• Strong financial analysis capability to assist in financial decision-making and strategic planning.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform regular account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by adhering to established accounting principles and processes.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, collections, and payments.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and assist in audits as required.
