Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Jewelry QC Manager to join our team in Mumbai on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess essential skills in creativity, knowledge of gemstones, and hand-eye coordination, ensuring quality control in our jewelry manufacturing process. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality and craftsmanship of our products, adhering to the highest industry standards.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Creativity (Mandatory skill): Ability to generate innovative designs and ideas for high-quality jewelry production.
  • Knowledge of Gemstones (Mandatory skill): In-depth understanding of various gemstones, their properties, and their applications in jewelry.
  • Hand-eye Coordination (Mandatory skill): Excellent coordination skills to manage intricate tasks during the quality control process.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for spotting inconsistencies and ensuring each piece meets the highest quality standards.
  • Technical Drawing: Proficiency in sketched designs and detailed drawings for jewelry components and assemblies.
  • Understanding of Metals: Knowledge of different metals used in jewelry and their properties to ensure correct usage in designs.
  • Color Theory: Comprehension of color combinations and applications to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the jewelry.
  • Market Trends Awareness: Awareness of current market trends to keep the designs relevant and appealing to customers.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and oversee the entire quality control process within the jewelry manufacturing unit.
  • Inspect and evaluate raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished jewelry to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Liaise with the design and production teams to address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement quality control policies and guidelines to standardize procedures across the unit.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff to improve quality awareness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality control findings and recommend improvements to enhance product quality.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually upgrade quality control techniques.
