Skills and Qualifications

·       Experience in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP (WordPress)

·       Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications on WordPress / PHP.

·       Experience designing and developing responsive design websites

·       Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc

·       Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

·       Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working responsive HTML pages for tablet, mobile, and desktop

·       Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

·       Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN, or Mercurial would be a plus

·       A clear understanding of PHP back-end development

·       Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics

·       Strong communication skills

·       Ability to independently manage projects and report / present efforts to clients

·       An additional CMS exposure (Shopify, Magento, Drupal) would be an added advantage
