Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Fast Transport Carrier Pvt. Ltd. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Pune Division, requiring a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting and auditing, as well as proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications and Skills

• Financial reporting expertise with a proven track record (Mandatory skill)
• Strong auditing skills with attention to detail (Mandatory skill)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Mandatory skill)
• Experience with tax preparation, including filing and compliance with regulations
• Proven budgeting abilities to manage and forecast expenses
• Competence in account reconciliation, ensuring accurate financial records
• Strong financial analysis skills to interpret complex financial data
• Understanding and application of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal regulations
• Conduct regular audits to verify the financial status and operational execution
• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits
• Manage tax compliance, including preparation and filing of tax returns
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
