JOB SUMMARY:

As an Abroad Study Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding students and parents through the process of studying abroad. This role requires a deep understanding of various international education systems, universities, visa processes, and cultural considerations. You will provide personalized counseling to students, helping them choose suitable courses and institutions that align with their academic goals and career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career objectives.

• Course & University Selection: Advise students on suitable study programs, universities, and countries based on their preferences, academic qualifications, and financial capabilities.

• Application Assistance: Guide students through the application process for universities, including documentation, essays, and letters of recommendation.

• Visa Guidance: Assist students with visa applications, ensuring they understand requirements and procedures for various countries.

• Test Preparation: Recommend and provide information on standardized tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, GMAT, etc., and assist students in preparation strategies.

• Financial Aid & Scholarships: Inform students about financial aid options, scholarships, and other funding opportunities available for studying abroad.

• Cultural Orientation: Provide insights into the cultural and social aspects of studying abroad to help students adjust and integrate into their new environment.

• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions abroad to stay updated on programs and opportunities.

• Events & Workshops: Organize workshops, seminars, and events to educate students and parents about studying abroad and related processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any stream.
• Proven experience in counseling / marketing / sales. Preferably in the field of education abroad. Strong knowledge of international education systems, universities, and visa processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
