We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Factor Human Resources Pvt. Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. You will also play a key role in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. This is a full-time position based in Ernakulam, Kerala, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA)
• Mid-level experience of 4 to 6 years in accounting
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, including variance analysis
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Manage and reconcile bank accounts and cash flow
• Review and approve financial transactions and payments
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
• Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors and financial institutions
