Role Description

 ·       Support pre-project activities for electrical, instrumentation, and automation cost estimation and tender preparation.

·       Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and specifications.

·       Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for instruments, panels, cables, cable trays, and pneumatics based on design specifications.

·       Create automation and electrical design specifications

·       Manage supplier quotations, evaluate, and negotiate order details for equipment and components.

·       Prepare purchase specifications for various equipment, including PLCs, field panels, instruments, and UPS systems.

·       Provide on-site electrical support, oversee installations, troubleshoot issues, and authorize site-generated electrical orders.

·       Supervise commissioning activities and prepare documentation for the electrical commissioning team.

·       Compile "As Built" electrical installation documentation, including IO schedules, drawings, test reports, and termination schedules for handover to the client.

·       Report to the Project Manager on budget, schedule, progress, and forecasting for projects.

Qualifications

·       Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Instrument / Electrical Engineering or related field

·       0-2 years of experience in Electrical / Instrumentation / Automation engineering

·       Experience with dairy processing plants

·       Experience with AutoCAD, PLC programming languages

·       Experience with electrical system design, control system design, and project management
