**Job Description:**

Automation Engineer at Pacemaker Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced pacemaker systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate clinical requirements into innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical engineering, signal processing, and a passion for improving patient care.

**Responsibilities:**

- Lead the design and development of pacemaker systems, including hardware, firmware, and software components.

- Collaborate with clinical experts, product managers, and regulatory affairs to define product requirements and specifications.

- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and validation tests to ensure product safety and efficacy.

- Design and implement signal processing algorithms for cardiac rhythm analysis and therapy delivery.

- Develop software applications for pacemaker programming, remote monitoring, and data analysis.

- Provide technical support to internal teams, customers, and regulatory agencies throughout the product lifecycle.

- Stay current with industry trends, scientific literature, and regulatory requirements related to cardiac rhythm management.

- Participate in design reviews, quality audits, and process improvements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- 1+ years of experience in medical device development or related role.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.

- Strong understanding of cardiac physiology, electrocardiography, and pacemaker technology.

- Experience with signal processing techniques, digital signal processors (DSPs), and microcontroller programming.

- Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards (FDA, ISO 13485, etc.).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Master's degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering or related field.

- Experience with implantable medical devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, etc.).

- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).

- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, NFC, etc.).

- Experience with cardiac electrophysiology studies or clinical trials.

- Previous experience in the medical device industry.
