Role Summary:

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Manager of Corporate Development to lead strategic initiatives, M&A activities, partnerships, and investments. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership to identify, assess, and execute new business opportunities, enabling the organization’s growth through acquisitions, investments, strategic partnerships, and other inorganic growth levers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy and Market Analysis

  • Lead market and competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities and industry trends.
  • Work with leadership to develop and execute on long-term corporate strategy.
  • Develop financial and operational models to assess strategic initiatives.

2. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

  • Identify and evaluate potential M&A targets aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Lead due diligence processes across functions (legal, finance, operations, etc.).
  • Create valuation models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions) to assess potential transactions.
  • Collaborate with external advisors, including investment bankers, lawyers, and consultants.

3. Investments & Partnerships

  • Manage the end-to-end process for strategic investments (venture or minority stakes).
  • Build and nurture relationships with venture capital firms, startups, and other potential partners.
  • Negotiate and structure joint ventures, partnerships, and alliances.

4. Stakeholder Management & Execution

  • Work cross-functionally with business units, legal, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of deals.
  • Develop board-level presentations to support approvals and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage post-merger integration activities, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4-6+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise (DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution).
  • Proven experience managing M&A, investments, or strategic partnerships end-to-end.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience preparing board-level materials.
  • Expertise in project management, including post-merger integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent degree from a top-tier institution.
  • Experience in venture capital is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the venture capital ecosystem is highly desirable.
