The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies. 

 

Responsibilities

Manage Vendor empanelment and vendor management in multiple regions

  1. Evaluating commercial bids of the vendors and preparing comparative statements recommending purchasing strategy.
  2. Ensuring smooth supply of Long Lead & other materials and providing efficient procurement as per specified quality and at competitive cost.
  3. Continuous expediting of the delivery schedules with vendors and ensuring timely procurement and replenishment of stocks without hampering the progress of the projects
  4. Ensure proper Terms and Conditions for Purchase to improve performance
  5. Motivation and Training of Team for negotiating purchases in most efficient manner
  6. Ensure all Purchase Orders (PO) are correct and as per the requirement
  7. Check and approve all PO’s for quantities and price, if it is 1 lakh and above
  8. Ensure systems for Rate List and Vendor Management are followed
  9. Coordinate with the projects team continuously to check on materials required and to provide inputs on material delivery timelines
  10. Ensure that materials reach the site on time to enable project execution
  11. Certify invoices (vendor bills) given by accounts within 1 day
  12. Manage all vendor advance payments by sending invoices to accounts and ensuring it is paid out to the vendors
  13. Clear Invoices and send to accounts within 1 working day
  14. Compile and Track SEZ and Import documentation
  15. Authorize Advances and Cash Payments
  16. Coordinate with vendors if warranty certificate is not submitted to the handing over team
  17. Ensure best practices in the department as per quality process


Qualifications

  1. Minimum 7-10 Years of experience in procurement of real estate or interiors/construction services and supplies.
  2. Experience in working with and managing e-procurement (through ERPs) and contracts management platforms.
  3. Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
  4. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  5. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
