Job Responsibilities:

v Cost optimization measures in all the departments.

Purchase :

v Team Leading Entire Purchase Department

v Development of Procurement Strategy

v    Establish new processes and systems for effective procurement across the ESCON;

v       Provide specialist advice, guidance and service on leading practice procurement in identification,                            assessment and management of potential risks associate with differing sourcing strategies; provide              insight through the analysis of spend, supply markets and savings;

v Define and manage key supplier relationships to deliver breakthrough performance in cost, service and                   quality, including technical input to negotiations on strategical aspects and negotiation

v Develop and agree annual departmental cost savings targets for the annual Budget process; develop       and agree the annual procurement plan with directors and departmental heads

v Develop a savings reporting mechanism (ideally from Sage) with Finance which is understood and      accepted by the user departments.

v Develop New Vendor for the procurement of materials with less cost & good quality.

Production : ( Electrical, Electronics & Fabrication & Mechanical)

v Develop production schedules and work statements identifying detailed facility requirements, manpower requirements, parts and material lists, tooling lists, third party services and specialized resources to ensure contractual commitments and production targets of the company are met.

v Support operations departments with optimized production plans, job cards, drawings, manuals, standards and production management information systems. Ensure that all required documentation is supplied with the Task Cards in order to maximize efficiency in job execution by mechanics and technicians.

v Ensure all data is entered accurately into the company’s information system in accordance with company’s Work Order processes and procedures. Make sure that Production Planning and Control personnel ensure that all required documents are included in completed work packages prior to copying and filing records into company’s archives,

v Lead, coach and mentor direct reports and their subordinates to consistently deliver excellence in their undertaking as individuals and team players. To ensure commitment and accountability at all levels by maintaining a cohesive organization motivated to meet and exceed expectations. To hire, discipline and terminate employees as required.

v Provide on-the-job and formal training of department personnel in the proper performance of their    assigned duties.

v All Production booths are managed and controlled by the Production Planning and Control department. The manning of this department is necessary for all operations shifts.

Warehouse :

v Plans, leads and directs all the activities of the 3 major functional areas, namely: warehouse operations and materials distribution, inventory planning and control and property management and control.

v Regularly develops new systems and cost-effective policies and procedures on warehouse operations, inventory management and fixed asset monitoring and control.

v Develops contingency plans and implements emergency material deployment programs in case of exigencies.

v Formulates and ensures effective implementation of the guidelines on weekly, quarterly, and year-end inventory count of inventory items in all warehouses and storerooms. Ascertains that all inventory variances are properly accounted for.

v Sees to it that the annual validation of employees’ accountabilities and fixed assets per record against actual inventory is executed on time.

v Product wise timelines of dispatch to be monitored and actions to crunch timelines for dispatch.

v Inventory codification, overall inventory management and valuation of all stores.

v Cost and time effective dispatch (logistics) of products from warehouse

New Product :

v Manage the existing products and lead the ongoing development of enhancements.

v Gather and analyze feedback from sales, marketing, operations and prospects to set the strategic vision for existing products and development of new products.

v Direct our internal process to define the product strategy, roadmap and priorities.

v Research, develop & implement a best processes strategy for new product development, launch and analysis.

v Develop requirements documents and use cases for new product features.

v Monitor the status of development projects supporting new features

v Product life cycle & profitability management.

Reports :

Purchase :

Produce regular reports on performance and provide comprehensive management information and in-depth analysis when requested including spend analysis, savings secured and potential savings – for forecast and budgets.

Production :

Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required ensuring a smooth running of operations. Report to operations management any discrepancies and threats on a timely basis with the objective of resolving any issues and to avoid aircraft re-delivery delays.

Conduct regular meetings, clearly establishing objectives and resultant actionable items.

Develop and implementing reporting system and MIS for the department which are lead by you.
