Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources (HR) Manager/Coordinator to oversee and manage HR operations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. The HR professional will be responsible for recruiting, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process (job postings, interviewing, hiring, etc.)
- Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs
- Coordinate job fairs and networking events to attract talent
- Onboard new employees and ensure a smooth transition
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues
- Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement
- Develop and implement employee recognition programs
- Performance Management:
- Assist with performance evaluations and set employee goals
- Provide guidance on career development and professional growth
- Advise management on disciplinary actions and terminations
- Monitor employee productivity and satisfaction
- Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws
- Update and maintain company policies and procedures
- Administer employee benefits programs (health, retirement, etc.)
- Keep up to date with changes in HR regulations
- Training and Development:
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employee skill development
- Support leadership in identifying training needs
- Maintain records of employee training and certifications
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer payroll and benefits systems
- Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation analysis
- Ensure timely processing of benefits enrollment and claims
- HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare regular HR reports on key metrics (turnover, headcount, etc.)
- Analyze data to improve HR strategies and organizational performance
- Provide insights to management on HR trends and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required)
- Proven experience in HR roles (typically 3+ years)
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
- Experience with employee engagement programs
- Knowledge of compensation analysis and job evaluation methods
Work Environment:
- Office-based or hybrid options depending on company policy
