About Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Department:

Our LIMS team works under the overall umbrella of MES business group. MES (Manufacturing

Execution System) is a family of software applications that is placed above the regulatory control

layer to enable continuous monitoring of plant performance in real-time. Equinox specializes in

the implementation of such MES software applications.

Profile Requirements:

 Experience required: 10 years of work experience

 Minimum 6 years of latest relevant experience in LIMS in any of the technologies, like,

LABWORKS, LABWARE, Caliber LIMS, etc.

 Should have handled the LIMS projects as an implementation engineer / Lead.

 Should have either IT background implementation experience or should have worked in

Lab or should be conversant with Lab workflow and processes

 Good knowledge of Lab, Quality standards, integration with ERP other OT systems

 Qualification required: Bachelor/Master in Pharma / Chemistry or Bachelor/Master in IT

/ Computer application or any relevant Degree (with 60% marks throughout)

 Should be confident, matured enough for facing customers

 Good Knowledge of SQL/Oracle database

 Good understanding of reporting via SQL Query and Crystal Reports

 Understanding of SQL Server Reporting (SSRS) would be an additional advantage

 An analytical mind with problem-solving skills

 Excellent written and verbal communication, is a must

 Ability & Willingness to work onsite in India and abroad: as per Project requirements to

sites in & around India and Middle East, for example

Job Description:

 Implementation on commercial applications – like LABWORKS or other LIMS software

 Will involve data gathering from the client, database and workflow configuration and

report generation in LIMS and interfacing with instruments and other MES applications,

like Historian

 Analyzing the reasons for project performance and review / re-write the systems and

procedures to improve the project performance.

 Expected to demonstrate full responsibility for the quality of the deliverables.

 Be able to defend model/data assumptions with the client.

 Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop engineering solutions.

 Should demonstrate team management skills.

 Direct interaction with the client (in coordination with Project Manager) related to Project

data & requirement, project status update with all stakeholders, etc.

 Should be able to logically explain the behavior of the application and its configuration

 Development of management reports for reporting progress to the client as well as project

manager
