Role: Scada Lead

We are looking for a Senior Leader for our Utilities Automation COE unit, responsible for Power Automation technical solutions consultancy in SCADA/PLC, Power Transmission and Distribution Applications, Orders, Presales, and meeting revenue growth targets. This position directly manages a team and oversees the Project Implementation, Presales, and Business Development activities of the COE.

Job Responsibilities:

·      Manage sales efforts and pursue sales leads and business opportunities.

·      Pursue new market & customer opportunities and coordinate opportunities with solution partners as required

·      Technical sales support of SCADA/ EMS/ ADMS /DERMS/ MDM applications for real-time control systems and support functions for mission-critical Electric Utility systems.

·      Get internal buy-in for the project/ Bid proposal plan and costs.

·      Get buy-in from the client by presenting a detailed project plan and ensure sign-off and stakeholder assignment from both client-side and Company Side.

·      Manage communications internally among the project team and externally to the client and ensure no gap or lapse inflow of information.

·      Working closely with stakeholders to understand the various SCADA Utility systems, including Details of their interfaces, data models, and capabilities to design appropriate Solutions.

·      Strategically addressing client needs and Creating a positive client experience

·      Ensure that all deliverables are delivered as per the committed & contracted timelines.

·      Monitor all aspects of the program, anticipate any potential roadblocks and draw mitigation plans to resolve them

·      Encourage creativity and risk-taking

·      Coordinate with business unit management and staff to ensure appropriate resource assignment and accurate commercial pricing of proposed solutions.

·      Collaborate with our Solution Consulting Personnel to execute and achieve pipeline targets on defined Growth Initiatives.

·      Define and implement business growth and sales strategies for utilities

·      Assist sales efforts in the form of proposal and quote support, technical discussions, product demonstrations, and system design

·      Ensure sound engineering practices are adopted and used within the Team.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in engineering required, preferably in electrical engineering or a related domain, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the related domain

·      Possess qualifications in building management and business desirable.

·      Proven ability to initiate and follow through with improvement initiatives

·      Experience in Power Automation Domain, SCADA/EMS/ ADMS /MDM Software, and other Generation, Transmission & Distribution SCADA applications

·      Knowledge of industry-standard SCADA software platforms.

·      General electric utility industry knowledge and Electric utility Control center operations/dispatch experience.

·      Knowledge of power systems analysis, Electric utility control systems, and power systems

·      Knowledge & implementing experience in any national or international project related to Active Network Management systems of any of the global service provider viz. Schneider’s ANM system (EcoStruxure DERMS) or Smarter Grid Solutions (SGS - Strata Grid, Strata Element) will be added beneficial.

·      Exposure and experience in dealing with Energy Conservation, Energy Management, and Sustainability are required

·      Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

·      Excellent client management skills being able to quickly build credibility and a meaningful relationship with clients.

·      A self-starter and an organized individual with Strategic thinking and execution.

·      Good listener with excellent interpersonal skills being able to effectively engage with CXOs to Engineers

·      Spent 10+ years making a meaningful impact in engagement for multiple clients with experience in Technical management, strategy design and execution, organization alignment, leadership development, marketing, and communications, and managing multiple stakeholders.

·      Well organized, structured, and worked in an international and complex environment

·      Team player with strong international collaboration proficiencies and the ability to lead without formal authority

·      Established connections within the utilities market and OEMs

·      Experience in Control Centre Hardware, Network & communication devices, storage & Backup systems, and Cybersecurity implementation.

·      Client/Server, network communications,

·      Strong interpersonal presentation and communication skills.
