Job Description:

As a Scrum Master Intern at The Entrepreneurship Network, you will have the opportunity to dive into the world of agile project management within a dynamic startup environment. Working closely with our development teams, you will support the implementation of agile methodologies, facilitate scrum ceremonies, and help ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies:

• Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure that scrum ceremonies are conducted efficiently and effectively, keeping the team focused and aligned with sprint goals.

1. Support Agile Processes:

• Assist in implementing and maintaining agile frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Help teams adhere to agile principles and practices, including iterative development, continuous improvement, and self-organization.

1. Remove Impediments:

• Identify and address obstacles or blockers that impede the progress of the development team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate risks in a timely manner.

1. Promote Collaboration and Communication:

• Foster a collaborative and transparent environment within the team.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, product owners, and other stakeholders.

1. Metrics and Reporting:

• Assist in tracking and reporting key agile metrics, such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, and team performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving team efficiency and productivity based on agile metrics.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and manage group dynamics effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and a passion for agile principles and practices.
