Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven individual to join our team as the Head of Business. As the Head of Business, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and strategic direction of The Entrepreneurship Network. You will lead our business development efforts, identify new opportunities for revenue generation, and forge strategic partnerships to expand our reach and impact.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve organizational objectives and drive sustainable growth.
  2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships to diversify revenue streams and expand our global presence.
  3. Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, educational institutions, government agencies, and industry associations.
  4. Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through innovative business models, product/service offerings, and monetization strategies.
  5. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for differentiation.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a cross-functional team, including sales, marketing, and partnerships, to execute business initiatives effectively and achieve performance targets.
  7. Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure profitability and sustainability.
  8. Brand Building: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute brand-building initiatives, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities to enhance brand awareness and visibility.
  9. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate business risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams and driving business growth in a dynamic environment.
  2. Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
  3. Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and revenue generation strategies.
  4. Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  5. Results-Oriented: Track record of achieving and exceeding business targets and KPIs.
  6. Innovative Mindset: Ability to think creatively and drive innovation in business models, products, and services.
  7. Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and market conditions.
  8. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  9. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or a related field, preferably in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
