RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs and creates robotic systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop concepts and create detailed designs
• Develops algorithms and software that enable robots to perform specific and repetitive tasks or respond to environmental stimuli
• Develops, maintains, and implements a standard approach to programming and program structures Conducts quality checks before delivery of product
• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand the requirements and scope of the robotics project Installs, operates, calibrates, and maintains robots
• Ensures that robotic machines operate safely, dependably, and with precision; identifies and implements modifications
• Provides systems training, technical support, and troubleshooting services for robotic systems Recommends, develops, and implements enhancements and improvements to increase production volume or precision in high quantity operations
• Maintains documentation of development process, modifications, maintenance requirements, and other data
• Assists with cost estimates and project calculations
• Maintains knowledge of existing and developing technology and trends in robotics
• Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or Computer Science required
• At least three to five years of experience developing robotic applications
• Must possess excellent computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
• Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in written format. A strong command of the English language and grammar is necessary
