This role is crucial in identifying and onboarding new clients for vendor empanelment in our recruitment division.
Job Title: Business Development Executive (BDE) - Inbound & Outbound
Job Summary: We are currently seeking dynamic and results-driven individuals to join our team as Business Development Executives, responsible for both inbound and outbound activities. The BDE will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting as well as managing incoming inquiries and leads. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving business growth.
Responsibilities: Inbound:
- Handle incoming inquiries and leads via phone, email, or other communication channels.
- Understand customer needs, requirements, and pain points to effectively qualify leads.
- Provide information about products or services, pricing, and availability.
- Nurture leads through the sales process, from initial contact to closure or handoff to the appropriate sales representative.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and update CRM system accordingly.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of inquiries.
Outbound:
- Proactively prospect and identify potential clients through outbound cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach strategies.
- Introduce products or services to prospects and articulate value propositions effectively.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and set up appointments or demos for sales representatives.
- Conduct research to understand target markets, industries, and potential clients.
- Maintain a high volume of outbound calls and activities to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns or events.
General:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and conversion.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
- Provide feedback on sales processes, marketing campaigns, and product/service offerings.
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities as needed.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and objectives.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs.
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry is a plus.
