Role:
As a Fund Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of Endiya Partners. You will work closely with the CFO, Accounts Manager and External Consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for investment funds and management company entities
- Process accounts payable and receivables.
- Ensure timely and correct filing of statutory payments and returns.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
- Maintain and update accounting records and vouchers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with tax preparation, filing, and compliance with regulatory requirements (Income Tax, GST, SEBI, RBI).
- Manage all compliance and tax requirements for the fund, as well as employee expenses and reimbursements.
- Support audit processes and prepare required documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of various MIS reports, including budgets and cash forecasts as needed.
- Coordinate with bankers, service providers, and reconcile related accounts.
- Assist and prepare a full set of accounts, calculate fund IRR, and prepare regular investor reports.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant is preferred (or) a Masters degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting, with a strong preference for experience in the VC industry.
- Hands-on experience in consolidation, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Tally accounting software
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
