Endiya Partners, a premier early-stage venture capital fund specializing in backing Indian product startups with a global vision, is on the lookout for a Healthcare and Lifesciences Analyst/Associate. This role involves comprehensive support in sourcing, investing, portfolio management, and fund operations within the Healthcare & Lifesciences sector.

The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to work closely with Endiya's Healthcare portfolio, featuring transformative and leading companies such as Sugar.fit, SigTuple, Eyestem, Mylo, and others.

Primary Duties:

•      Identifying and Suggesting Investment Opportunities: The role requires the identification of promising healthcare and lifesciences startups through direct interactions with entrepreneurs, event participation, and industry networking. The candidate will screen potential investments and propose the most appropriate opportunities for investment.

•      Due Diligence & Deal Implementation: The candidate will spearhead due diligence processes and manage transaction execution/documentation. Responsibilities include conducting market research, financial analysis, drafting investment memos, creating financial models, and assisting in deal structuring and negotiation.

•      Sector/Market Analysis: The candidate will undertake various research and thought leadership tasks to form and refine the investment thesis and strategy. Staying abreast of industry trends and pinpointing emerging opportunities in the Healthcare & Lifesciences space will be essential.

•      Portfolio Management and Implementation: The candidate will collaborate with portfolio companies and assist partners in growing these businesses. This includes supporting the development and execution of strategic plans and fostering relationships with portfolio company management teams.

•      Fund Operations: The candidate will prepare for annual/quarterly meetings and manage data for internal review processes. Tracking key performance indicators and preparing reports for the senior management.

Requirements:

•      Graduate/Post-Graduate degree from a Tier-1 institution in India or overseas, preferably with a background in Healthcare, Bioengineering, or Biomedical fields.

•      Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Tier-1 consulting or investment firm.

•      In-depth understanding of the Healthcare & Lifesciences industries/markets.

•      Experience with fast-paced, high-growth entrepreneurial environments.

•      Self-motivated individual with a talent for working in compact teams, possessing strong interpersonal skills, intellectual rigor, and a results-driven mindset.
