Job Summary
The Sales Director’s responsibilities include overseeing the team discovering and pursuing new sales
prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction as well as actively seeking out
new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to develop and execute business strategies that capture revenue growth to achieve
growth Targets and formulate a strategy for the company to gain significant new business.
Lead, motivate and supervise the India team to develop and maintain customer relations,
increase market share and sales revenue.
Understanding and communicating the company value propositions and processes through
proposals and presentations.
Monitoring supply and demand, competitor offers and costs and advise on marketing
strategies to increase customer base.
Serve as the “face of the company” in strategic markets, and act as Subject Matter Expert
for Developmental collaborations with customers.
Document customer meetings in the form of trip reports and follow up with any associated
action items.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field
• 6+ years of experience within a manufacturing organization.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional or sales experience in High performance and Alloy materials
Manufacturing organization in a senior position, with excellent leadership skills and the
ability to motivate people.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• International sales and marketing, and basic business concepts.
