- Verifying all payer information received
- Update and submit all pending encounters to payers, as applicable
- Works at least 40-45 accounts per day
- Coordinates with management, escalates, and resolves any assigned task(s) issues
- Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines during facility, payer and or patient communication
- Keeps up to date with health care practices, laws and regulations related to insurance eligibility
- Prioritizes work and manages time effectively to meet set requirements made by manager.
- Reports any accounts incorrectly added to assigned task(s) for correction to management.
