Job Summary:

The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and assisting with financial reporting and analysis. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a good understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and account reconciliations.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify transactions, and manage payment schedules for accounts payable and receivable.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between the organization's records and bank statements.
  • Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring budgets, preparing financial reports, and ensuring expenses are within approved limits.
  • Data Entry: Accurately record financial transactions in accounting software or systems.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and other reports as required by management.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Payroll Processing: Support payroll activities, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, deductions, and benefits calculations.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for day-to-day operations.
  • Petty Cash Management: Maintain records of petty cash and ensure proper disbursement and reimbursement procedures are followed.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and suppliers regarding invoicing and payments.
  • Assist Finance Team: Provide support to the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
