Job Overview

As a Software Engineer (Backend), you will work closely with our experienced development team to design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop efficient server-side solutions using Node.js and Python.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Integrate backend systems with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to the existing tech stack.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js / Python.
• Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS APIs and CloudFormation
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Exposure to message queues and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of software design patterns and principles.
