Position: Senior Field Technician – Electrical & Electronics

Location:  Bangalore

Responsibilities:

This is a field technician role. The role includes visiting sites and carrying out installation and commissioning as well as providing technical support. As field technician, you will be responsible for complete task of 

1. Carry out site survey, identify place of system installation, identify the wiring requirements
2. Work out material requirements for the site work
3. Carry out installation work which includes electrical wiring with proper conduits, providing MCBs, mounting the product on the wall/pillar
4. Carry out product commissioning work which includes providing power to the system, connect the system to the internet, configure the system with the help of backend team, perform tests to ensure product is operating as expected
5. Demo the complete system functionality to the site owner and hand over.
6. Fix any operating instruction boards as needed.
7. Visit site for any reported issues, diagnose the problem and provide fix
8. Repair faults in the system with the help of engineers. Replace any damaged part.

Required experience and skills:

• An ITI Technician in Electrical engineering is a must. Electronics knowledge will be an added advantage.
• 2 to 5 years of experience working as an electrician. Should have worked independently carrying out a professional level of electrical installation for single phase and three phase wiring.  
• Should be able to perform drilling for fixing MCCB boxes and other systems. 
• Should have interest in learning new technology and train himself on new systems 
• Any experience in electronics repair will be a plus.
• Must be willing to follow a proper laid down process for installation and commissioning
• Above average communication skills in Hindi, Kannada and English
• Must be able to provide references of work done
