As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our business in the Bangalore, Karnataka region. This role requires a strong understanding of the rural market in India and the ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with customers and partners in the FMCG, Logistics and e-commerce industries. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG or e-commerce industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including retailers, distributors, and partners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned territory
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and improvement
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of projects
- Stay updated with industry developments, including new products and services, to provide recommendations to customers
- Meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the company
