Job Overview

We are seeking a High Performance Computing Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This is a full-time, mid-level position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in high performance computing, GPFS, and parallel computing, with experience in DDN storage, Linux, and clustering.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with high performance computing (Mandatory skill)
• Proficiency in GPFS (Mandatory skill)
• Strong understanding of parallel computing techniques and their applications
• Hands-on experience with DDN storage solutions
• Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Experience in setting up and managing clustering environments
• Ability to diagnose and solve complex hardware and software issues
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high performance computing (HPC) systems
• Manage and optimize GPFS storage solutions to ensure high availability and performance
• Develop and execute parallel computing algorithms and applications
• Oversee the installation and configuration of DDN storage systems
• Perform administrative tasks on Linux servers, including updates and security patches
• Set up and manage clustering environments to ensure efficient workload distribution
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues in the HPC ecosystem
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company’s digital transformation initiatives
