Job Overview

As a Senior Active Directory Design and Migration Specialist at EIL Global IT Solutions and Services Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing Active Directory migration projects. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, requiring a maximum of 10 years of work experience. You will be expected to leverage your expertise in Active Directory management and migration to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in Active Directory Management (Mandatory skill) with a deep understanding of domain structures and policies.
• Expertise in Migration Planning (Mandatory skill) including preparing strategies for seamless transitions with minimal downtime.
• Strong knowledge of NetIQ (Mandatory skill) functionalities and configuration processes.
• Hands-on experience with DNS Configuration, ensuring proper name resolution for Active Directory services.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Security Permissions to maintain secure and compliant systems.
• Experience with Quest Migration Manager for migrating and restructuring Active Directory environments.
• Advanced Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Ability to script and automate processes using Powershell for optimizing Active Directory management and migration tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities

§ Evaluate the business requirements for Active Directory migration.

§ Expertise in DMZ re-architecture

§ Expertise in managing the users and objects using identity manager.

§ Perform an audit on the existing Active Directory infrastructure to verify its health.

§ Expertise in deployment and troubleshooting of windows 2008 and 2012 R2Domain controllers in Active directory.

§ Expertise in migration using Quest Migration Manger Tool for Active Directory

§ Performed and raise the Domain functional level from windows server 2003 to 2008 R2

§ Build and troubleshoot experience with ESX 3.5/4/5/6/ servers 3.0 for managing multiple ESX servers.

§ Prepare the physical/virtual resources for the domain controller.

§ Install Windows Server 2022 Standard/Datacenter.

§ Patch the servers with the latest Windows updates.

§ Monitoring the servers using NAGIOS tools

§ Experience in automation of tasks using power shell

§ Experience working with NetIQ products suite like DRA and ADRAP

§ Assign a dedicated IP address to the domain controller.

§ Install the AD DS role.

§ Migrate the application and server roles from the existing domain controllers.

§ Migrate the FSMO roles to the new domain controllers.

§ Add new domain controllers to the existing monitoring system.

§ Add new domain controllers to the existing DR solution.

§ Decommission the old domain controllers (all).

§ Raise the domain and forest functional levels.

§ Perform ongoing maintenance (Group Policy review, new-feature implementations, identifying and fixing Active Directory infrastructure issues, and more)

§ Experience in migrating User groups, workstations and Application windows server from source Domain to Target Administration of Users Accounts, Groups, Resources, Security, Backup strategies in windows servers 2003/2008R2/2012
