Position: Venture Capital Associate

Location:  Chennai

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our investment team as a Venture

Capital (VC) Associate. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced

venture capitalists and other investment professionals to identify and evaluate potential

investments in innovative startups and new technologies. You will utilize your financial

analysis, market research, and business development skills to assess the viability and growth

potential of these companies, supporting the investment decisions of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deal Execution: Assist with all stages of deal execution, including sourcing new

investment opportunities, preparing investment memos, conducting due diligence, and

reporting on successful exit opportunities to Limited Partners (LPs).

- Investment Evaluation: Identify and evaluate potential investments in innovative startups

and new technologies using financial models and market research.

- Portfolio Management: Work with portfolio companies to drive their success and identify

new deals.

- Financial Analysis: Interpret financial statements to make predictions about the viability

and growth potential of potential investments.

- Relationship Building: Build relationships with entrepreneurs and other industry

professionals.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance or business management.

- Experience: 1+ year of experience in a similar role, ideally at a venture capital firm,

investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a startup.

- Skills: Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills, excellent communication

and interpersonal skills, comfort with ambiguity and risk.
