Overview:
Afynd Private Limited is seeking driven Software Engineer who will be working on both the front-end and back-end of our applications, ensuring that they are functional, efficient, and user-friendly. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Front-End Development:
- Build and maintain interactive, responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Utilize front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js to enhance user experiences.
- Implement design mockups and ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
· Back-End Development:
- Develop server-side logic, APIs, and services using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP.
- Design and manage database schemas and integrate with data storage solutions (SQL or NoSQL).
- Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
· Full Stack Integration:
- Coordinate front-end and back-end development efforts to create cohesive, functional applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire tech stack.
- Ensure smooth data flow and user interactions between the front-end and back-end components.
· Project Management:
- Participate in planning, estimation, and scoping of projects.
- Engage in agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide progress updates.
· Quality Assurance:
- Write and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and application reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices.
- Address and resolve bugs and performance issues.
· Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Propose and implement improvements to development processes and tools.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior developers.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong portfolio of full stack development projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with additional technologies or frameworks (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Django).
